Dr. Debra Millar
Clinical Professor, UBC Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Dr. Millar is a graduate of the U.B.C. medical school and completed her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She went on to complete a Clinical Fellowship in the Subspecialty area of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr. Millar divides her clinical practice in the care of adults with all gynecologic and obstetric issues while providing a tertiary referral service in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the B.C. Children’s Hospital. She is active in the ongoing education of residents and medical students in the obstetrics and gynecology as well as pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She also is responsible for a joint Clinical Fellowship training program for individuals in the Subspecialty area of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology along with colleagues at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the University of Calgary in Alberta.
Dr. Millar has been in clinical practice since 1990 and continues to embrace work and enjoy the practice of gynecology and obstetrics.
